ACM TOG is the foremost peer-reviewed journal in the area of computer graphics.
Recent impact factor calculations from Thomson Reuters give ACM TOG an impact factor of 4.218 and an Eigenfactor Score of 0.03127, giving it the top ranking among the 104 journals in the Computer Science: Software Engineering category.
The TOG journal has a strong synergy with ACM SIGGRAPH, the premiere conference organization in graphics. Of the six issues published by TOG each year, two are special issues containing the papers presented at the annual SIGGRAPH and SIGGRAPH Asia conferences. Conversely, authors of papers published in the regular issues of TOG can present their work at either of these two conferences. Also, several paths provide reviewer continuity between the conference and the journal.
ACM introduces a new publishing license agreement, an updated copyright transfer agreement, and a new author-pays option which allows for perpetual open access through the ACM Digital Library. For more information, visit the ACM Author Rights webpage at authors.acm.org.
ORCID is a community-based effort to create a global registry of unique researcher identifiers for the purpose of ensuring proper attribution of works to their creators. When you submit a manuscript for review, you will be presented with the opportunity to register for your ORCID.
